Life Path Number Calculator

You can use my Life Path Calculator to the right to find out your Life Path Number. If you have any questions regarding the calculation method I use, and the reasoning behind it, please visit my page on How to Calculate your Life Path Number, and if you are unsure, or would like to know exactly how your Life Path Number is calculated, feel free to leave me a note below with your date of birth.

The numbers used in numerology to indicate one's life path number run from 1 to 9, with the exception of Master Numbers 11, 22, and 33. Master numbers have "extra strength", or double the pulling power of single digits. These numbers are given more challenges, and in return have greater potential. All types of people can have a master number, and it doesn't make one person any more special. It simply means that these people have many more obstacles and challenges along the way, and accordingly have the potential to achieve something that much more powerful in their lifetime.

My Birthday 5th June. 1993. Does this give me a lifepath number of 33? It says its really rare (2%) so just wondering if this is true.

Reply

seven May 25, 2017 at 3:18 pm

Yes : )
June = 6
5 = 5
1993 = 22 (master numbers are not reduced within the calculation)
Life path = 6 + 5 + 22 = 33/6

Hi Lori,
09 = 9
12 = 3
1962 = 18 = 9
Life path number = 9 + 3 + 9 = 21 = 3

We must use the Fibonacci sequence for this my friend. You don’t separate the numbers then add them they are one stream. 5141985 for example then using the Fibonacci sequence gives you your life path number this is the most accurate way to calculate life paths.

Hi Adam, every now and then, someone always jumps on here and starts this conversation about which is a better way of doing things : ) These conversations are now lost somewhere in the comments of old, but the result of them only confirms that using the Pythagorean method, or the 3 cycle method as it is sometimes called, is the best and only way we should be calculating our life path numbers. I must also say that i did not make this method up. I am simply following the logic of most professional numerologists out there, and that is why any affiliate links you find on our site will also lead you to their sites where they use the exact same method as we do.

Simply adding the numbers together is not the correct way of finding out your life path number. I, like you, thought it was an OK way to go about some time ago, however, my biggest problem with the other methods, and what you should also realize, is that over time, this simple way of calculating will result in a drastically inconsistent swings in the percentages of those with master numbers, depending on what decade you are in. We have on our site a statistical breakdown of all the life path numbers in our side bar. I set this up not just for myself, but for people like you, who might also be looking for some clarity. These results were derived from the people who actually submitted their information for a free numerology reading on our site, and as you can see the stats are very well uniform.

In your previous comment you were specifically referencing master number 33. As an example to my argument, you can try some math yourself, and go through all the dates from 1990 to 1999. I built a pretty simple script some time ago just for this purpose that I run to test any date range, but you can do some quick math on paper yourself – You will find that using the simple method you will end up with 70% of all 6s in this date range to be master numbers 33, while only 30% are standard 6s (not master numbers) … this is a ridiculous number. This is because when you have an already large year (like you have from 1990 to 1999), and you are using the straight addition method, it is much easier to end up with a large end result like 33.

Then when you look at the dates between 2000 and 2010, you will find it impossible to get a master number 33 with your straight addition method, simply because you cannot mathematically get to the number 33 from adding any month + day + years together in that decade … go ahead and try for yourself. 29/9/2009 would be the closest you can get if I am not mistaking and you would get 2 + 9 + 9 + 2 + 0 + 0 + 9 = 31.

With the 3 cycle method on the other hand, we always get a much more consistent and logical distribution of all the master numbers.

Hi seven,
My birthday is 11 sep 1991. Does my birthday (11) & life path (22) affect me in any way? Hope to know your insights as to how both the master numbers affect me. I’ve read in Matthew’s book that both constitutes 50% i.e. 5%+45%.
Thanks.

Hi Nora, yes you would all have the same life path number. However, there are other numbers within the numerological chart that together with you life path give you a different overall character than that of your sisters.

Hi I just discovered your wonderful site!

I wanted to send you a request for a numerology reading, but before that I have a burning question that someone else couldn’t answer either.

So my birth certificate has a “middle” name, but its not the typical middle name. My name chosen by my parents is actually in chinese symbols but I was born in the western world. So the “symbol” for my first name has 2 different ways of pronunciation. So they put the 1st pronunciation that was intended by my parents as first name and the second as middle name. How would you handle something like this? lots of love

Reply

seven April 20, 2017 at 10:11 am

Hi Cheng, It is always more difficult to go from one language to another. It is often recommended that we should stick to a numerology system that was intended and designed for us in the language and region where the name originated. Of course this can’t always be followed. In your case, I would recommend going with the full name you have actually gone by since your birth. If you were using both of these pronunciations than go with that. Unfortunately I can’t really tell you one way or another, and you will have to make the decision yourself.

cheers : )

Cheng April 21, 2017 at 9:10 am

hi, thanks for your reply!

so actually i think i would go with the “full” name as in both pronunciations with one being the middle name. i feel its connected with me slowly remembering things from my past and parts of me that have been isolated coming back to me. since i also thought my middle name was just a bureacracy mistake and not part of me until recently when i found out. thanks! 🙂

Steven, I’m confused i was born February 11 1998 some calculators are giving me a life path 4 and others like this one are giving me an 22 which is it?

Reply

seven April 13, 2017 at 8:50 pm

Hi Dylan, not sure who Steven is, but using Pythagorean numerology method ….
Feb = 2
11 =11 (master numbers are not reduced within the calculation)
1998 = 27 = 9

Your life path = 2 + 11 + 9 = 22 … written as 22/4 because you are still a 4 at your base level. More information about the different methods of calculation can be found at the following page – http://seventhlifepath.com/how-to-calculate-your-life-path-number/

cheers : )

17 = 8
1993 = 22 (master numbers are not reduced any further within the calculation)
Your life path number = 3 + 8 + 22 = 33 … commonly written as 33/6 because 6 is still your base vibration
