Life Path Number Calculator

You can use my Life Path Calculator to the right to find out your Life Path Number. If you have any questions regarding the calculation method I use, and the reasoning behind it, please visit my page on How to Calculate your Life Path Number, and if you are unsure, or would like to know exactly how your Life Path Number is calculated, feel free to leave me a note below with your date of birth.

The numbers used in numerology to indicate one's life path number run from 1 to 9, with the exception of Master Numbers 11, 22, and 33. Master numbers have "extra strength", or double the pulling power of single digits. These numbers are given more challenges, and in return have greater potential. All types of people can have a master number, and it doesn't make one person any more special. It simply means that these people have many more obstacles and challenges along the way, and accordingly have the potential to achieve something that much more powerful in their lifetime.

Seven, I have twin sons born on 3/19/1990. I assume that they have same life path number, but they have very different personalities. How does that work?

Our life path numbers are not EVERYTHING … they are just a part of our make-up. If they were “all or none” type of a deal than in reality every one out of nine people would technically be very similar (considering the life path numbers 1 to 9 only). Although our life path number is considered very, if not the most, important of all the numbers … and hence it gets most of the attention … it is only one of the many numbers in our numerological charts that have an influence on our being.

Hi Jane, your life path would be 3 + 6 + 24 = 3 + 6 + 6 = 15/6

My birthday is 24/10/1986. I’ve been trying to calculate my number but can’t figure it out! Help please!!!

Hi Megan,

24 = 6
10 = 1
1986 = 24 = 6

and so your life path number is 6 + 1 + 6 = 13/4

My birthdate is 2/9/1971. Can never figure out if I am a 2 or 11. Thanks!

Hi there, your life path number would be a 2:

2 + 9 + (1971) = 2 + 9 + (18) = 2 + 9 + 9 = 20/2

My Birthday is June 25 1991 and my girlfriend is June 1st 1992. What are our life path numbers? I Believe mine is a 33 master number

seven May 1, 2012 at 12:10 am

Hello Jeff, your life path number would be a 6 :
june = 6
25 = 7
1991 = 20 = 2
Total = 6 + 7 + 2 = 15/6

and your girlfriend’s is 1:
june = 6
1992 = 21 = 3
Total = 6 + 1 + 3 = 10/1

Hi. My birthday is 26 June 1979, which makes me a 22. I read the description, and although I can relate to much of what was said I know that all my ambition ever brought me was tribulation. Something I don’t understand drives me, don’t know where it comes from, I really can’t consider myself “successful”. I have a good job that pays well, but that just rings hallow.

29/06/1983 can any work this one out ?

seven April 23, 2012 at 9:08 pm

Hey Jeff, so your life path number is calculated as follows:
(29) + 6 + (1983) = 11 + 6 + (21) = 11 + 6 + 3 = 20/2

Paul April 22, 2012 at 1:45 am

Hi, I’m a little confused with what my number should be. I have read many different ways on how to calculate it and it seems to always come to a 3. However I put my birthdate into a calculator and it came out with a 5? Anyways here is my birthdate… 9/29/1990. Thanks!

seven April 22, 2012 at 8:07 am

Hi Paul,

Hmmm … you must have thrown in some other number into my calculator by mistake … it does show your life path number to be a 3 : )

Anyway, this is how you should calculate it –
9 + (29) + (1990) = 9 + 11 + (19) = 9 + 11 + (10) = 9 + 11 + 1 = 21/3

Aamira April 4, 2012 at 9:40 pm

My is 1+3+0+1+9+8+9=31. 3+1=4 right

Reply

seven April 4, 2012 at 10:19 pm

1 + (30) + (1989) = 1 + 3 + (27) = 1 + 3 + 9 = 13/4 – different method, same result, but in this case having 13 as the higher vibration of your life path number is an indication of a karmic debt

how come 44 isn’t a master number? I know 11 is 2 intensified, and the same goes with 22 & 4 and 33 & 6, but how come 44 isn’t 8 intesified?

Reply

seven March 24, 2012 at 11:52 am

Hi Nathan, 44 is a higher vibration of the number 8, and it is considered a master number by some. I might have something on it in the future, but at this time you are left to search about it on your own : )

Hi thank’s for a really fantastic site, i have tried to calculate my path, my birthday is the 20/8/1976 i got a 6 but i thought it was 33/6 how can it be? sayng this i’m not to sharp at maths.
Thanks you so much
Lene

Hi Lene, your life path number would be calculated as follows:

8 + (20) + (1976) = 8 + 2 + (23) = 8 + 2 + 5 = 15/6

Using other methods you end up with a 6 or a 33, but you are losing the association to the rest of the numbers in your numerological chart:

8 + 20 + 1976 = 2004 = 6
or
8 + 2 + 0 + 1 + 9 + 7 + 6 = 33/6 (using this method, every second person has a master number … it is my least favourite method)

Hi Manish, anything after midnight is a new day so if the 28th was the morning of your birth than you would use 28

I have a question about getting an accurate life path calculation, for instance, with astrology which i know is a different system but based on your birthdate like numerology my birthday is 09/25/1984 but i was born in the evening in the pacific nw and astrology bases its charts on the time your were born, not to throw you for a loop . It bases it on london time , greenwich mean time meaning I was technically born on 09/26/1984 . Obviously where I was born in was still 09/25 so what date should I be basing this on?

Reply

seven March 9, 2012 at 10:28 pm

Hi Megan, well technically, it is my understanding that astrology is based on the position of the stars and planets at the time of your birth, not on the Greenwich line. The Greenwich line is used in the calculation of your local time to figure out what those planets were, so I would argue that if you were born on the 25th where you were, than you could not have been born on the 26th, which you obviously realize. Regardless you would also use 25th for you date to calculate your life path, which in your case is 9 + 7 + 22 = 38/11

Was reading comments and do have a question. I was born on august 25/26 (born at midnight on the dot. Mother was allowed to pick which day for my bday. She choose the 26th) 1976, I normally use life path #3 as that’s what my choosen bday leads me to, but being born at midnight, would or could I have a different #???????? Thanks for your response!

seven March 8, 2012 at 9:55 pm

Hi Teresa, as soon as you cross even a millisecond past midnight you are in already in a new day, and so I would go with 26th as the day you were born. But i do wonder if you feel at all like Life path number 2, as that would be your life path if you were to take your birthday as the 25th.
