Hi Kevin, the system used on this site is based on the common calendar in use, which is in reality a Christian Calendar, based on Christ’s birth. You can’t use it for dates before the birth of Christ. Just like in astrology, numerology has many different systems, and the older systems that pre-date our calendar can be used … such as Vedic Numerology. In reality, no one knows exactly when Christ was born, and although we celebrate Christmas in his honour, many scholars believe that he was actually born anywhere between 6 and 4 BC. A common interpretation as far as I am aware of is that his essence carries the vibration of master number 33.

I’m new to all of this. I just happened to catch a show on TV where the guest was speaking about numerology and it piqued my interest.
When I put in my birth date 8/11/75 my response was: The 3 cycles that make up your life path are 8, 11, and 22, giving you a life path number of 5. I see myself in life paths 8, 11, and 22, but not 5. Life path 5 is foreign to me, but it I won’t lie, it is a life that I would love to live.
Can you explain the meaning of the 3 cycles? Does this mean that I will live each life path at different times in my life?

december 6th 1982. 12-6-1982. (1+2) + (6) + (1+9+8+2) = 11/2. Am I correct? I have to say… after hearing about this I thought I was a 2… I read up on a two and thought “that doesn’t fit me at all.” I read up on an 11/2 and it was alarmingly close.

Hi Sweta, I use the Pythagorean system, which bases most of your numbers on your date and name at birth, and no matter how your name changes later on in life, your Core numbers do not change. Also your daughter has an Expression (or Destiny) number of 22/4 according to the method I use. If you were to look at the Chaldean Numerology system, it might give you different results, and that system also gives precedence to your current name.
So my birth path number is an 11 and so is my name number. I was curious if there was any significance with having both numbers being the same?
Hi Jordan, having several instances of any one number within your numerological chart increases the influence of both the negative and positive traits that number represents. It also becomes much more difficult to overcome the influence of the negative attributes once you become susceptible to them.
what does it mean if you are an 11 plus you were born on the 22 = 22/12/75 – 22 +3+22 I seem to have more struggles than anyone!
Hi Laura, you birthday number represents a specific gift, or talent of yours, but it is not as significant as the other core numbers in your chart. It is also responsible for your 2nd cycle, and in that respect is has a bit more influence on you. I noticed that you opted in for the free reading … that will explain a bit more in depth.

here’s how i would do it:
(7) + (7) + (1986) = (7) + (7) + (24) = (7) + (7) + (6) = 20/2 …
and your three cycles are 7,7, and 6
Hey my number leads to 6 but if I added up correctly/the lady that introduced me to this it should be 33, 14/10/1989 1+4=5+1=6+10=16+8=24+9=33. Just a lil curious can relate the meaning to my current research in psychedlics, was a little confidence boost.
Hi Marc, you did everything correctly, except your year 1989 is reduced to 27 and then 9, and so:
5 + 1 + 9 = 15/6

Hello Gypsy, you both have a life path 2 – you would calculate your life paths as follows:
(27) + (8) + (1956) = (9) + (8) + (21) = (9) + (8) + (3) = 20/2
And for your son
(17) + (11) + (1990) = (8) + (11) + (19) = (8) + (11) + (10) = (8) + (11) + (1) = 20/2 – notice the 11 is not being reduces as it is a master number.

Hi Gourav I just had a similar question to yours regarding repeating numbers. In short, having several instances of any one number within your numerological chart increases the influence of both the positive and the negative traits that number represents. With so many 6s there is also much less chance of anything in the middle, meaning you are more likely to be on the extremes of these either positive or negative traits, and as such it also becomes much more difficult to overcome the negative traits if you fall into their trappings. Because of the 6 being a number that generally does well with people, is charming and charismatic, you can be very successful in business. Just make sure it’s something that fits your personality and with so many sixes be aware of its “dark side” ; )

2 + 5 + 1992 = 2 + 5 + 21 = 2 + 5 + 3 = 10/1 … so you have a life path number 1
My soul urge, personality, and life path numbers are all 11. My husband has the life path of 33, and our son is a 22. A family of master numbers. I honestly don’t know what to think of it, does that usually happen?? am I correct about this?? Im 9+1+5+1+9+8+5=38, 3+8=11, husband 4+1+4+1+9+8+6=33, and our son is 6+1+8+2+0+0+5=22.
Hi Rachel, I would imagine that would be a pretty rare thing to have all of you as master numbers, but according to the method I use, only your son has a master number 22.
From your date of birth 9/15/1985 you get the following:
(9) + (1+5) + (1+9+8+5) = (9) + (6) + (23) = (9) + (6) + (5) = 20/2
For your husband 4/14/1986:
(4) + (1+4) + (1+9+8+6) = (4) + (5) + (24) = (4) + (5) + (6) = 15/6
And for your son 6/18/2005:
(6) + (18) + (2+0+0+5) = (6) + (9) + (7) = 22/4

Your calculator seems to be flawed. My birthday is November 10 1970. Doing the math, since November is a master number 11 and cannot be reduced here is the math. 11+1+0+1+9+7+0=29
2+9 = 11
I figured you may want to fix this.
Hi Derek, nothing wrong with my calculator. You are correct that because 11 is a master number, you don’t need to reduce it down, but you do need to reduce the other numbers first before adding them up.The way you should be calculating your life path is as follows:
(11) + (1+0) + (1+9+7+0) = (11) + (1) + (17) = (11) + (1) + (8) = 20/2

Hello! My birthday is 03/31/1983. I read a book on Numerology and the math it gave me to determine my life path number lead me to #8. However this website and others say I am #1. HOWEVER, lol, when I do the math the way this website tells me to I actually arrive at the #10, and there is no ten, only 9 and 11. So I am very confused about what I am and why I have different instructions for reaching my number in the book and on the websites. Help please!
Hi Ava … you are correct, but you still have to reduce the 10 down to a single number, which is a 1. Your life path number would be calculated as follows:
(3) + (3+1) + (1+9+8+3) = (3) + (4) + (21) = (3) + (4) + (2+1) = (3) + (4) + (3) = 10 = (1+0) = 1

Thanks I thought I was an 11 but now I know I am a 2 with some characteristics of an 11. But I feel like more of an 11 than a 2, is it maybe like 2 and 11 are blood sisters. I was a 2, everything about a 2 is me ,I have changed, 11 is more like me now. The path 2 is easier and I know it will be hard for me to lead a life of an 11.
