Life Path Number
Life Path Number is calculated from your FULL Date of Birth, and is considered one of the most important and influential numbers within your entire Numerology Chart.
The numbers used in Numerology to indicate one's Life Path Number run from 1 to 9.
In many cases, your single digit Life Path Number will be written to include the double digit number from which it was derived from, such as 16/7 for example.

I am a life path number 7 but I’ve been trying to figure out if I’m an 25/7 life path number or an 16/7. On your website, it says I’m an 25/7, but I’ve seen other numerologists calculate the birthdates differently. I will use my birthday for example.
I was born on November 27,2003 and I’ve seen other numerologists calculate birthdates like this
1+1+2+7+2+0+0+3 which equals to 16, which still reduces to a 7 but not a 25/7 like it says on your website if I’m making sense. I’m really trying to figure this out, but I’m so confused!
The numbers representing your Month, Day, and Year of birth are used to calculate your Pinnacles, Challenges, and are ultimately responsible for each of your 3 Cycles. The Pythagorean Method which is what we use here on our site and which will give you the 25/7 Life Path number result, relies on the idea that your Life Path is based on these cycles, and so it is sometimes called the 3 Cycle Method. It is these Cycles that are added together to form your Full Life Cycle … or your LIFE PATH.
Furthermore, although this doesn't effect your end result specifically, the Pythagorean Method is stricter and more selective in determining whether or not someone falls into the category of a Master Number, giving us a more realistic and even distribution of Master Numbers regardless of decades or centuries, the other methods do not. Despite what you might see on other websites, most Professional Numerologists use this method exclusively, and see the other methods as being incorrect.

Birth Day = 27 = 9
Birth Year = 1986 = 24 = 6
Life Path Number = 5 + 9 + 6 = 20/2. so he is not 11/2 but 20/2 ... which btw is mathematically more difficult to obtain 🙂

Your Birth Year = 1971 = 18 = 9
Your Life Path Number = 11 + 22 + 9 = 42/6 .... so not 33/6 but your 3 cycles (11, 22 and 9) each represent powerful numbers

My daughter was suppose to be born 7/11/11 with life path 22 but came out 7/12/11 with life bath 14/5 why was that she didn't come out as a master number
I’m soooo confused. So the birthday I’m trying look up is 7/22/2007. Some websites say it’s a 2 but others say it’s an 11. I’m seeing the difference is because some say to reduce the 22 to a single digit 2+2=4 as usual but others say to never reduce it under any circumstance. So it is a 2 or 11? Do you reduce the day 22 or not? If not, does that mean that you don’t reduce the 33 in year 1933 or the 33 in year 2033?? Please accurately clarify!
Hi Liz, so for your date of birth, break down each number to a single digit ...
07 = 7
22 = 22 (here we do not reduce it further as it is a master number)
2007 = 9
Your life path = 7 + 22 + 9 = 38 = 11/2 ... notice we still write it down as 11/2 because regardless of your higher vibration being master number 11, your single digit base number is and always will be a 2.
As for the 33 in the year 2033, this has nothing to do with anything. Simply reduce that year to a single digit value 2 + 3 + 3 = 8. But if for example the year was 2333 = 2 + 3 + 3 + 3 = 11, we would stop here for the calculation just like we didn't reduce your 22 birthday number down.
The easiest way to remember is within the calculation itself, reduce all numbers to their single values unless they are master numbers 11, 22 or 33... Hope that helps.
